Arheološki lokaliteti, kao segment kulturnog nasljeđa, od izuzetnog značaja za istoriju i kulturu jednog naroda u našoj državi su veoma malo iskorišćeni.

U bogatim arheološkim slojevima našeg okruženja, nalaze se materijalni ostaci starijih civilizacija, koje su baza za civilizacijski kontinuitet, koji smo naslijedili i na njima izgradili sopstveni kulturni identitet.

Područje Crne Gore, a posebno Boka Kotorska predstavlja jedan od najbogatijih arheoloških resursa u Evropi. Mediteransko okruženje koje je pulsiralo starim civilizacijama, imalo je svoj odraz i na našim obalama.

U opštem civilizacijskom i istorijskom nasljeđu Mediterana, antičke kulture predstavljaju vrijednost, koja se trajno sačuvala u svojoj snazi, ljepoti i dubokom humanističkom smislu.

Archaeological locations, as a segment of cultural heritage, are extremely important for the history and culture of the people.  But, in our country, they are poorly put to use.
In the rich archaeological layers of our surroundings, there are material remains of older civilizations, which form a basis for the continuity of civilization. We inherited them and have used them to build our own cultural identity upon them.
The area of Montenegro, the Boka Kotorska Bay in particular, is one of the richest archaeological resources in Europe. The Mediterranean surroundings, which pulsated with old civilizations, left its reflection along our shores as well.
Within the general heritage of Mediterranean civilization and history, ancient cultures stand as a treasure trove, permanently preserved in its strength, beauty and in a deep, humanistic sense.
